Calanque de Marseille
A calanque is a narrow, steep-walled inlet that is developed in limestone or dolomite and found along the Mediterranean coast. The best known examples can be found in the Massif des Calanques. It’s located along the coast between Marseille and Cassis in France. This area is a national park which is incredibly close to the urban metropolis of Marseille, the second largest city of France.
